A diabetic foot ulcer is an open wound or injury that occurs in approximately 15% of diabetic patients and is most frequently found on the bottom of the foot. Six percent of individuals who develop a foot ulcer will require hospitalization due to infection or another ulcer-related complication. This course will help you in learning DFU characteristics, pathophysiology, risk factors and management.
